Peter McLaughlin Jr

Peter McLaughlin Jr. was born on October 22, 1973, in Bayonne, New Jersey. He is the only child of Diane (Monaco), a civil servant, and Peter McLaughlin, an Army veteran. He is a descendant of Gerrit Hendrickszen van Deventer, one of the early Dutch settlers who arrived at Swedes' Landing (Minquas Kill in Wilmington, Delaware), in March 1638, aboard the Kalmar Nyckel. In 1646, Peter's descendants received a grant of farmland and initially settled on Manhattan Island, along Bowery road. Peter receives private coaching and ongoing mentorship from Rodney Rowland. Before turning to acting, Peter was a military intelligence analyst with combat support deployments to both Afghanistan and Iraq. He retired from active duty following 20 years of honorable service.
