Germana Tappero Merlo

Germana graduated in the 1980s in Political Science with an International focus, and then continued with a doctorate in Military History. For more than 30 years now, war and terrorism have been her field of action: she works as an international politics, security and terrorism analyst for national and international institutional organizations and research centers, with particular reference to the areas of Middle East and North Africa. She also works as a Consultant in Counter-Terrorism and Security, is a professor of Terrorist and Extremist Profiling at the Master in Forensic Criminology in Milan and professor of Terrorism and Counter-terrorism in Italy at New York University and Potomac Institute of Washington.
