Jacobo Fe Gismera (02/28/1994, Madrid, Spain) is a multi-award-winning writer, who completed Graduate studies in Screenwriting & TV Writing at UCLA (University of California-Los Angeles). In 2014, he became the youngest Spanish author in the historical genre at the age of 19 with the publication of his peplum novel "Perfectus Imperator". That same year, his international modeling career started, just after becoming a finalist for the Invictus Award Spain and Men's Health Magazine cover. Since then, he follows a strict daily regime of studying, writing, and working out, determined to mix and match his double facet as a scriptwriter and as a model. As a multifaceted student and emerging artist, Jacobo was consecutively awarded the three main National Artistic Scholarships from his homeland: Faro Programme (2018), US-Spain Fulbright Singular National Award in Cinematic Arts (2018), and the Mutua Madrilenian Foundation Grant (2019) after simultaneously completing three study fields in Business Administration & Management (Degree), Law (Degree), plus Filmmaking (Minor) in five countries (Spain, Italy, India, Thailand, & the U.S.), resulting in the achievement of 402 academic credits between 2012 and 2018. Thereby, before moving to the United States, Jacobo had the opportunity to complete real-life education in prestigious educational institutions around the globe such as University Carlos III of Madrid in Spain, University Ca'Foscari di Venezia in Italy, and Mahidol University of Bangkok in Thailand. Furthermore, he did an academic internship in New Delhi, India, for BYO: Shout Networking, and he finally finished his undergraduate studies with the development and presentation of a multidisciplinary thesis-project titled: "Morality: Fundamentals of Human Behavior". Jacobo's creative work ("ACE", "The Tale of JJJ & The Language of Birds", "The Son of the Sun", and "MALI") is focused on true stories and biopics; combining exhaustive historical research with witty creativity, and pursing the inclusion of ethics and supra-individual values in an effort to screenwriting with a conscious. His screenplays are the result of an in-depth investigation of diverse areas like WWII Aviation, 19th century Modern Surgery, Napoleonic Wars and Egyptology's rise, Military Strategy in Ancient Rome, Pre-colonial African History, or the Casino Golden Age and Infomercial Rush in the American East Coast during the '80s. Using an accurate and detailed historical frame, Jacobo tries to build charismatic and eccentric characters ahead of their time who, despite the harsh environment around them, chase goals with a positive social impact. The purpose is using the 7th Art, filmmaking, as a vehicle to transmit both ideas and ideals. In 2020, his screenplays and TV pilots were rewarded with 40+ international decorations and laurels from several festivals, international competitions, and art fellowships, including winning the SRFA-Cannes, placing Top 15% in Nicholl Fellowships by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars), becoming a finalist for Hillman Grad Mentorship-Screenwriting Lab organized by Lena Waithe, between 4,500+ participants; receiving an Emerging Content Creators Scholarship by the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP), or appearing featured at Forbes magazine due to his rising career. In 2021, Jacobo is developing an original TV pilot screenplay for Joy Factory: Creative Content Studio, after being granted a Development Fellowship, and works as a script reader for the prestigious Slamdance Film Festival. Additionally, he assists Gaitafilms, a production company, as a story analyst while working as a literary agent assistant and consultant for both Savvy Literary Services and Waterside Productions, promoting new Hispanic voices in the USA. He is also taking part in the Content Creatives Incubator 2021, a TV Writing residency in Cannes, France, supported by Banijay Group and the Université Côte d'Azur. Besides his facet as a writer, Jacobo has developed multiple professions, accumulating international experience as a legal and business trainee, marketing strategist, translator, linguist, proofreader, and, overall, as a professional fashion model and actor, accumulating today 200+ publications in 12+ countries.
