Chris Ndukuba is an English dramatic and character actor of dual heritage (English/Nigerian). Born in County Durham he spent his early childhood years growing up in the mining and industrial areas of Horden and Peterlee respectively. At the age of 7 his family relocated to West Yorkshire for his fathers work and educational pursuits, finally settling on the notorious estate of Holmewood, Bradford. Chris attributes what is now The National Science and Media Museum (formerly National Museum of Film and Photography) as a 'magical influence' which first really influenced his early interest and passion for film and photography. This was somewhere he would regularly visit during his formative years to see different exhibitions and learn about the history of film and photography. A keen and talented soccer player, after leaving high school he left home at the age of 16 to play three years of full time academy soccer before going on to play semi pro whilst exploring other ventures on the side. His first of which was studying Performing Arts at Bradford College, performing in productions at the Bradford Alhambra during and in short films both on screen and voiceover after leaving. He also did some modeling and DJ'ing, running club nights alongside his soccer path. Soccer ultimately led Chris to land in the Southbay area of Los Angeles in the Hermosa and Manhattan Beach areas, this in turn led to him becoming re-involved in the acting industry. After discussing the path that had led him out to LA with a contact he had made through soccer he was advised that he should try pursue some commercial acting, thus he submitted to a commercial casting slot for him to get a taste of getting 'back on the horse'. What was meant to be a short taster for inspiration turned out to be him booking a National TV commercial in his first ever casting in Hollywood and a day that re-ignited the fuel to re-pursue the craft of acting. Since returning to acting in December 2021 and up to date now he has filmed 9 projects (7 short movies and two commercials). His first project been Detour where he played the role of a gun wielding mystery villain named Frank, to portraying reformed gangster turned legitimate landlord Chad in the comedy Superpowers Aren't A Thing as well as other gangster, Sicario and assassin roles.
