Chris Szkup

Originally from Hobart, but having called Melbourne home for a long time now, Chris Szkup is a guitarist, songwriter, arranger and producer. As well as working on solo projects and various session work, Chris co-founded The Feckers, which is comprised of a group of musicians and singers who live in various places around the world. In recent years The Feckers have collaborated with several well known people...Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns N Roses, Sons of Apollo), Neil Murray (Gary Moore, Whitesnake, Brian May Band), Tony Franklin (Blue Murder), Lydia Salnikova, Kyle Whalum (Kelly Clarkson, Kirk Whalum, Katy Perry), Jonathon Noyce (Gary Moore, Jethro Tull), Melvin Brannon Jr (Dan Reed Network), Joey Huffman (Collective Soul, Soul Asylum), Turanga Morgan-Edwards (Alien Weaponry), Edo van der Kolk, Tommy Denander, Chandler Mogel (Outloud), Chris Sligh (American Idol), Kyle Thomas (Exhorder, Trouble), Yohei Eto (Queeness, Kween), Ponch Satrio, Richard Fortus (Guns N Roses), Brett Garsed (John Farnham, Nelson. Planet X), Zak Lloyd (Taylor Swift). Recent years have seen The Feckers also create with several upcoming singers and musicians, they have recorded material for their own album as well as tributes to The Godz and KISS additional covers of WASP and The Traveling Wilbury's have shown just how varied their influences are. Chris also is a guitarist in a band that has played tribute to both Metallica and Megadeth.
