My name is Alexis Monet and I view my purpose as art. I began my journey as a model in Dallas, Texas in which I embarked on many great journeys. I was featured in one of the biggest tattoo magazines, "247Ink Magazine" with a 5 page spread with a few other publications. I have also worked with Johnny Gill/ Ralph Tresvant, Lil Uzi Vert, Ozzy Osbourne, and others. I had the pleasure of working with CBS, "TKO with Kevin Hart" and VH1 "To Catch a Beautician", with Tamar Braxton. One of the most eye opening and excited experiences was working with Mayvenn Hair on their latest 2019 national commercial. Gratefully, I have also been a part of an award winning feature film entitled, "Tatted Souls". Throughout this process I have worked on my own production prior to beginning the @amilliseries web-series. I am the creator, director, writer and executive producer of a new drama web-series entitled "A Milli Series", which will be released at the end of February 2021! It is about 7 conforming millennials demonstrating heartache, happiness, love, indecisiveness, wisdom and lust. The "A Milli Series" is about a group of millennials who try to prioritize idealistic views of societies norms, while pushing the envelope on individualism viewing themselves as chameleons. The "A Milli Series" was selected into 8 film festivals and was named 'semi-finalist' in the Florida Shorts Film Festival. "Smears" is a web-series that encourages conversation about undesirable millennial adversities. A melanin mental health proposal. Our community will no longer be a smear of blood, a smear of corruption or a smear of generational curses, but merely a smear of the American projection!
