Dasha Tsema

Dasha Tsema is a Russian American writer, director, and producer from the heart of the South whose mission as a storyteller is to show truths hidden in plain sight. Heavily influenced by her status as a first generation American, her Russian heritage, and life as a former athlete, Dasha's stories focus on identity, representation, and the human spirit through the female lens. Her latest film depicts the mental, emotional, and physical vulnerability of the female athlete against the backdrop of the pandemic. She recently graduated from UCLA with an MFA in Film Production.
