Albert Lew is an Asian-American actor and writer known for his reluctant hero and friendly/helpful on-screen presence. He made his film debut in a supporting role for the short film "Don't Get Comfortable" that won the 2021 Kids In The Spotlight Best Film. He was also recently co-starring with actor Eric Roberts in the upcoming short film drama "A Cotton Mind" as well as landed lead roles in short films as "The Heroic" portraying a guilt-ridden single father and "One Hundred" as a mysterious military commander making a surreal discovery in his home. In addition to lending his voice for a suspense-horror drama "Don't Look Behind", he completed filming supporting roles in upcoming TV pilot episodes of "Grand Jeté" and "Al & Joshua". He is preparing for an upcoming anthology web series "The Shop" that is in pre-production. Born in Los Angeles, CA, he discovered acting while a student in elementary school. After graduation from University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering, he worked full-time as an engineer and volunteered at his childhood church, soon joining its drama ministry doing stage plays and sermon skits. Despite getting his feet wet into acting, he didn't pursue it as a career until 2021 when several acting schools made their classes remote due to the COVID19 global pandemic and he used the opportunity to learn the Meisner Technique, how to audition and perform on-camera, and perform the Harold long-form improvisation comedy. He continues his actor training whilst pursuing the privilege to portray characters through film and television with inspired storytelling.
