Shane M. White was born on June 7th, 1980. Growing up in the 80s and 90s, music and movies played a huge part in shaping Shane's emotional connections to storytelling. In his youth, he wrote short stories and filmed videos with his father's VHS Recorder; using his G.I. Joes and Star Wars figures as his main talent. After years of being an Army Brat, Shane's family settled in Indianapolis, Indiana. And in High School, Shane studied acting under Paris M. Goodrum and did four theatrical productions at his high school. Following High School, Shane took his love of movies into the workforce, and got his first job at a movie theatre in January of 1999. This allowed Shane to work during the BEST Cinematic Year of Film. As a late teen, the films released in 1999 helped shape Shane's love for putting stories on film. In September of 1999, Shane began working on his first feature length film script with Jason L. Maier. The horror script, which was a total "Scream" ripoff, would eventually become the film "Consternate", which premiered at the Castleton Arts Theatre on December 19th, 2000. Over the next five years, Shane and Jason would produce a total of seventeen film projects in Indianapolis, working with many of the most talented actors working in the city at that time. Shane is the co-host of the Shane Talks Podcast; where he and Jason L. Maier discuss a wide variety of nerdy pop culture topics. Shane also runs the YouTube website for GemInI Films, as well as the ShaneDrinksBeer website.
