Michelle DeMoss

Michelle DeMoss (born August 25th 1999) is an American actress and filmmaker best known for her role as Mimi in Self-Worth (2020). She grew up in Washington state until deciding to move to Davis, California for University. She attended UC Davis from 2017 to 2021, graduating in Cinematography and Digital Media and Communication (double major). After university, she continues to create visual stories through acting, writing, and producing films. Michelle, urged by friends to see a doctor about her constant pain, underwent years of testing (that are still ongoing) and has been diagnosed with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and Fibromyalgia. While her physical abilities have been an obstacle for her, she continues to push on and create art that she loves dearly. Michelle has contributed to a variety of award-winning films, receiving a nomination for best supporting actress by the Indie Short Fest for her role as Mimi in Self-Worth (2020). Michelle is a determined woman that creates her own opportunities through writing, directing, producing, and starring in her own independent films. She strives to create impactful and educational art that spreads awareness of the topics she holds close to her heart - all the while making it entertaining and engaging to the viewer.
