Alex Chandler is an actor, director, writer, and stunt coordinator located in Los Angeles, CA. He is best known for drama and action films, who loves playing with genres and embedding deeper meanings into compelling story lines and interesting character situations. Alex started his martial arts journey when he was 7 years old, joining a local Tae Kwon Do school in his area. He quickly progressed in his training, receiving many awards competitions for forms, board breaking, and sparring. He achieved his black belt when he was 15 years old. He took a break from martial arts for a few years to focus on his schooling college. When he moved to Los Angeles, he found a karate dojo a few blocks from his house and knew he needed to sign up. He immediately applied himself to the teachings of his Sensei's, and about a year and a half after jumping back in received his second black belt. Alex started acting when he was 10 years old, falling in love with the craft and auditioning as much as possible. He performed in many stage plays and musicals in his ten year theater career, performing in shows like A Few Good Men, All My Sons, Bill W. and Dr. Bob, Mamma Mia, and The Little Mermaid. When he moved to Los Angeles to attend film school, he found a new passion for directing and writing, and dove into applying himself to those areas as well. He is best known for his role as Dean in the short film "A Dangerous Man", which won Best Dark Drama at the Oregon Screams Horror Film Festival in 2022, as well as his Directorial Debut "Pain Relief".
