Leon Markcus

Leon Markcus is a Singapore based pop musician, most notable for his bubblegum sample heavy dance and pop-driven songs. As of 2021, has toured Asia - South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan & Hong Kong as well as performed various live streams broadcasted internationally, such as Australia and the United States. Back in 2016, Markcus' debut E.P "Mannequin" charted at Number 1 on the Singapore Itunes Pop Chart. Markcus' latest body of work - 'Welcome to Hot City' (charted at 4th & 6th on the pop and all music genre respectively) would include, favourite tracks such as 'Hot City feat. Bilal Hassani' as well as 'Forgotten Natives.' Acting Ventures In 2021, Markcus started ventured into Acting. After some minor acting roles in various local short films, he scored his first lead role as "Zhi Yong" on the Viddsee Series - "1000 Cups to Midnight". Markcus' portrayal as "Zhi Yong" was voted as the audience's favourite character within the drama series, most notability for his reliability, relatability and comedic timings.
