Anisa Benitez

Anisa Benitez is an actor, model, and filmmaker based in NYC. Her training began in 2016 on-stage in improvisation and in 2020 she left her career in marketing at Google to pursue film work. She's collaborated with numerous independent filmmakers to share compelling stories that aim to raise consciousness. Her own film Sunset Orange (2022); written, directed, and starring Anisa; was awarded Best Indie Short Film at the New York Movie Awards. She is also known as the lead, Eiman, in Breathe (2021) and for other short film work. In addition to performing Anisa is a meditation guide. Her guided meditations can be found across social media (80K following), on BuzzFeed, and on her podcast No Starving Artist. Her mission is to liberate creatives, support their well-being, and enjoy her own curious creative life. As a wellness advocate and educational TikTok Partner she has partnered with top brands, such as Starbucks, Keys SoulCare, BetterHelp, Rothy's, and Outdoor Voices among others. Previous to pursuing her acting career she led marketing at iconic brands, such as YouTube, Google, TIME Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Fortune Magazine, and RCA Records under Sony Music Entertainment. In 2020 she left her position of Brand Marketing Manager for YouTube Music and Marketing Consultant at Google's Area 120, a startup incubator to focus on acting.
