Karly Jo

Karly Jo is a director and producer originally from and currently living in Los Angeles, CA. She attended Columbia College Hollywood (in Tarzana) for her BFA with an emphasis in directing, and began her career as a Production Assistant at a post studio. She is best known for directing short films, including, "The Everything Film" and "Getting 'It' Back". She is slated to direct a short film titled "Beautiful" in the fall. She is in post-production on an adaptation of a children's book, "The Library Card" by Jerry Spinelli. He also wrote "Stargirl", which Disney bought and produced, starring Grace VanderWaal. When KJO is not directing, she works as a Script Supervisor on indie-features. Her experience on set has made her a more empathetic and collaborative filmmaker. KJO believes that storytelling has the power to change lives. Her mission is to make films that share experience, strength, and hope.
