Collin Jackson

Collin Jackson is the kind of stuck-up, self-absorbed, wannabe-artistic filmmaker who would write his own IMDB bio in the third-person. His films can only be described as "farcically pretentious," attempting to make a point full of poignant social commentary while still involving juvenile uses of swearing and adult humor in an absurdly hyperbolic manner, such as in "1-800-555-HELP" (2021) and his upcoming film "In Search of Him" (2022). He's the unfortunate kind of filmmaker who shoves down your throat that you're watching a film that was shot on film, going so far as to make films on Super 8 and 16mm in the style of 1970s/1980s indie fare with a modern, cynical Gen-Z twist. Be warned.
