I stepped into the film and producing world quite suddenly in 2019 when I started Back Pocket Films with my great friend Al Moore. My debut production The Lost Season, was a roller coaster of ups and downs, but ultimately it was the most rewarding project I have ever done. During The Lost Season, I was able to form a new and deep passion for deeper storytelling and film adventure. The film worlds I have been working on have had a particular focus on youth, regional towns and human endeavour. Whilst there are countless jobs to be done in filmmaking and you cannot beat the creative thrill, I have also particularly enjoyed the thrill of delving deeper into producing and the project side of film. Since 2021, we have been working on our second film The Kids. The Kids is a once in a lifetime project and I'm thrilled to be apart of this unique opportunity. The Kids will be a unique feature length documentary focusing on the winding inside world of five diverse and talented teenagers as they embark on their journeys to become professional AFL/W footballers. The heart of our film will be the blending of what it means to be a young adult, whilst exploring each character's pursuit of their athletic dream within their local community.
