L.A. Sweeney

L.A. Sweeney is a Toronto born actor. The daughter of a Jamaican mother and an Irish father, she is a first generation Canadian who began studying acting and improvisation at The Second City Toronto. A Monologue Slam Canada champion and award winning poet, L.A. is motivated to tell stories through her acting that elevate and amplify the presence of women of colour in film and television.
