Riti Ramanujachari is an Indian Australian writer, director, and performer. Born in 2002 in Abu Dhabi, Riti moved to Sydney when she was 2 years old. Armed with her Grandpa's camera, she began performing and filming small videos with her family. Riti soon realized she had a passion for filmmaking and telling stories. Riti has been making films since the age of 7 and at 16 years old, Riti won 1st place in the Blue Datto Short Film Competition, as well as the Voters Choice Award. She called the radio station Kyle and Jackie O in order to promote her film, which she did so successfully. Riti was also a finalist in the Focus on Ability Short Film Festival with her short documentary 'Possibility not Disability.' Riti was also a chorister with the Australian Girls Choir from 2013 -2020. Riti is a passionate individual who strives for feedback and is motivated to gain skills and experience. She strives to tell diverse and unique stories through the powerful avenue of filmmaking.
