Tania-Maria

Tânia-Maria was born in Brazil and raised in Brasília, the capital, where she became fluent in English while attending EAB (Escola Americana de Brasília). During the 80s, while in Rio de Janeiro, she attended Socila and Petit Studios and in 1984 she relocated to Los Angeles where she was first exposed to Hollywood productions and worked as a Background Actor on shows and feature films such as: Moonlighting, Pretty in Pink, Cobra, Dallas, Cagney & Lacey, Hill Street Blues, Fame (The series), The Running Man, Max Headroom and The Twilight Zone to name a few. Her desire to act led her to take acting classes at The Crossroads Arts Academy and Theater in Leimert Park, Ca and soon after, she started performing in theater and worked as a voice-over talent dubbing movies from English to Portuguese. Tânia-Maria is featured as Jet Magazine's "Beauty of the Week". After a break from the entertainment industry, Tânia-Maria is now working on short films and is represented by A-List Models and Talent.
