Quinn van der Priem

Quinn van der Priem has been going strong since publishing his first novel - Titanium, a thriller set in World War II - at the advanced age of 13. He followed up with multiple short films, including Crazy Little Thing, Apple Falls Far From the Tree, and the award-winning Magdalena. During that time, he slipped into high school education and went on to study Creative Business in Breda, Netherlands. Quinn regularly writes movie reviews for his peers on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook under the handle "Quinn's Movies," a side hustle that has earned him a loyal following. Barely into his twenties, Quinn is well into the next phase of his career at a time when most of his contemporaries are still searching for a phase one. For Quinn, that means channeling his energy and talents into seeking out the best indie films in the world and helping them achieve maximum success. He is both a child of the new media landscape and an active participant, a filmmaker and an avid consumer, with a zealot's devotion to all things film. As Director of Acquisitions, Quinn divides his time between Accelerator's offices in South Africa and The Netherlands... or anywhere with a dark room and a flickering screen.
