Bri Hall

Bri Hall, formerly SmartistaBeauty, is an American YouTuber who makes beauty videos. Bri was born in New York, to a Jamaican mother. As a child, she "wanted to be good at absolutely everything. Bri hosts the Count to Ten podcast, which covers issues around social and racial injustices, gender and identity inequality, and mental health. She wants "anybody who feels like they're on the margins of society, to have a safe space to feel like they're amongst friends while they're listening to this podcast." The name came from "an uncomfortable experience" where Bri was incorrectly blocked from entering a venue, and said, "Whew let me count to ten before I lose my cool." She then questioned how often "people with marginalized identities... have to do this."
