Andrew Norton

Born in Liverpool in 1980, his first brush with entertainment was trying out for the Milky Bar Kid in 1989, but was rejected due to actually wearing glasses. In 1998, while studying for a Robotics degree, he joined Liverdyne Robotics, and took part in Robot Wars TV show, keeping the world middleweight title, and taking part with the heavyweight Viper01. He also worked in the US on the first ever BattleBots on ZDTV, as part of the arena safety team, a position he continued with for the first, second and fourth seasons on Comedy Central. He then moved to Georgia, and got involved in politics and journalism, becoming an expert on peer-to-peer file-sharing and copyright. He then took over the US Pirate Party, and ran it and the international organization. In 2016, he joined the DragonConTV production crew, as camera operator and producer.
