Mateo Castel

Mateo Castel is a television, film, voice over & commercial actor, and model based in New York City, best known for his role as Zach Gurdle in the Nickelodeon live-action series 'The Really Loud House' (2022). In film, Mateo has been seen in 'Ava From My Class'(2021), 'Oblivion'(2019). As a commercial actor, Mateo has worked in various national commercials, as well as voiced promos for DC Comics and other campaigns. Mateo trains as an actor and singer at The Lee Strasberg YAS program, The Atlantic School, and he is privately coached by his mother/actress-acting coach, Lorena Matus. Mateo has spent most of his childhood living in New York City, was born in Dallas, Texas and also lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mateo is a first generation American, youngest of 3 children, born to naturalized American-Mexican parents. He is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. When not on set, Mateo enjoys coding and playing video games with his friends, playing sports, as well as spending time with his family and dog.
