Umberto Rispoli

Umberto Rispoli is a professional jockey in Thoroughbred Horse Racing. He is born and raised in Napoli, Italy. He is married to Kimberley Mosse Rispoli which they have two young children together. In 2009 and 2010 he won the Italian Champion Title in back-to-back years. After having success in Hong Kong and France, among other countries, he challenged himself to the Southern California Racing Circuit. He proved to have great success by winning 49 races in just 6 weeks at Del Mar. He continued his momentum by winning the Santa Anita Derby and The Shoemaker Mile. He still holds Italy's record at 245 wins/year, beating Gianfranco Dettori's record wins, at 229.
