Laura Van Der Zee

Laura van der Zee (1997) is an independent film director and producer from the Netherlands. She is also active as a cinematographer, editor and actor. Throughout her life Laura has been active in filmmaking and animation. While traveling with her family across the globe, she always had a camera at hand, ready to shoot all the beautiful places the world has to offer. Later on, she decided to join art school to pursue a degree in animation. Nowadays she uses a combination of animation and live-action in her film work. Her animated short film "Through the Eyes of You" (2019) has been screened all over the globe, including the United States (LA), South Korea, Italy and Denmark. The animation has been nominated for Best Animated Short by the LA Festival of Cinema.
