Martika 'Maria Jade' Thompson

Martika Thompson, most known to the world as "Maria Jade", was born on March 31, 1990 in Akron, Ohio, USA. Her journey as a professional pole dancer has taken her to higher levels. As a well known pole dancer and competitor across the World, Maria Jade was discovered by the scouts of the hit TV series, P-Valley. There, she made her debut as Mercedes' stunt double during season 1 and was called back for a second season as well. You may have recognized some of her signature pole stunts in both seasons but it doesn't stop there. She is also the leading lady of the shows opening credits where her silhouette and pole stunts are recognized by the shows 4+ million viewers. In season 2, Martika (Maria) becomes a character by the name of 'Cyntonia'.
