Ana Sousa

Ana Sousa is a young and experience Independent Producer, Writer, and Director originally from Lagos, Portugal. Driven by her passion for Storytelling, Ana started her career, first as an actress in 2016, and then as a filmmaker ever since 2018. After graduating from Drama School in London 2018, she worked as an Actress for a couple of years while simultaneously working on her own projects and short films. It didn't take long for her to realise her passion for Producing, Writing and Directing. Ana launched her first short film ''Hidden Impulse'' a short Political Drama in 2018 starring Vår Haugholt and Charlie Moss, she premiered her first short at the Three Mills Studios in London, with a Q&A and special behind the scenes Bloopers at the end. In 2019, she made her second short film '' Dissociation ''. A disturbing and yet visually compelling Crime Thriller. In 2021, Ana launched her third short film '' Ethical BlackHat '', a short Crime Thriller about a hacker working with the UK police to hunt down cybercriminals. Ana's most recent short film is called '' Scared little Fox '', a Drama about two best friends that secretly have feelings for each other.
