Marios El Khoury

Marios El Khoury (born February 6, 1991 ) is a Lebanese actor & model. Early life: Marios was born in Athens, Greece. Born to Joseph Philip El Khoury and Marlene Nagy Yonas Saad and grew up in Lebanon & Cyprus. He is of Lebanese, Italian and Spanish descent. Marios is the great-great-grandson of Bechara El Khoury, who served as the 1st president and prime minister of Lebanon. Marios is the second cousin of Elissar Zakaria El Khoury, commonly known as Elissa, is a famous Lebanese recording artist. Elissa is one of Lebanon's most famous singers and one of the best-known artists in the Arab world. Marios was raised Maronite and attended Catholic schools. He has 2 older and 2 younger half-siblings from his father's previous marriage. Career: Marios was not looking forward to studying acting, as he was studying at the Faculty of Political Science and Business. He was frequently being asked to join the field of commercials and acting from a young age due to his good looks, he was in several commercials in Lebanon and Cyprus. Studying Political Science and Business, he presented many roles that contributed to its spread, the most important of which are Mario, the gangster prisoner in NETFLIX series, Inside the World's Toughest Prisons S6E2 Cyprus: The Utopian Prison (2022) and in Sous Le Ciel d'Alice (2020) as a militia boss and gangster. Marios is a Nightclub owner in Cyprus. His involvement in nightlife and underworld has led him to an arrest in 2021 for the possession of guns, explosives and drugs. Pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in jail. However, he only served 15 months in jail and was released on parole. Personal life: Marios married his Romanian fiancée Gabriela Daniela Gheorghe Antochi in September 2015. Gabriela gave birth to the couple's first daughter, Clara Maria, on 11 September 2017 in Nicosia, Cyprus where the family took residence.
