Joseph Marconi

Joseph Marconi is an American-Italian filmmaker who seeks compassion and wonder in human stories. After over a decade in advertising as an Art Director for clients like BBDO and Showtime, Joseph returned to filmmaking by way of nightlife photography in New York City. It's there he began writing seriously and directing short films and music videos. He founded his production company, Upperstate, after moving to Los Angeles and has directed, produced and edited music videos for Lily Kershaw, Grizfolk and Wild Rivers. Joseph is currently wrapping up editing his first documentary feature HARGROVE under director Eliane Henri while developing his own directorial debut feature film, WILD ANIMAL, to go into production later on in 2021. Joseph lives in Atwater village with his wife and daughter where he runs almost every day.
