Versatile and hugely consistent, Canadian skateboarding phenom Ryan Decenzo is making a name for himself on the streets and on the screen. Ryan Decenzo is known throughout the skateboarding world for going hard in the paint. A member of Canada's notorious Red Dragons skate crew, the seemingly fearless Vancouver resident has built a reputation for being able to deliver big moves when the pressure is on, as evidenced by his gnarly My War segment for Thrasher Magazine. Growing up with a brother to skate alongside has proven to be a driver in individual skateboarding progression and it's certainly been true of Ryan. He and brother Scott pushed one another into the sponsorship ranks. Ryan's meteoric blow-up in the skate world has followed a pretty incredible trajectory: from completing a one-two statement of intent by winning both Phoenix AM and Tampa AM contests back-to-back in 2008, within two years Ryan would not only turn Pro for Darkstar Skateboards, but also release a phenomenal solo part for Transworld Skateboarding's 2010 video project Hallelujah. A second place at Copenhagen Pro back in the heady days of 2012 would set the stage for an X Games gold in 2016 and another full video part for Darkstar in 2017. Most recently, Ryan became a vital part of not one, but two, of Red Bull Skateboarding's most celebrated projects of 2019, Petrified Park and Wheels On Woods. One of the most versatile, productive and consistent street skaters in the game today, Ryan Decenzo is also a great ambassador for skateboarding culture and its power to make dreams come true.
