Scott Crawley

Scott Thomas Crawley was born on March 18th, 1979 in South Bend, Indiana. Growing up in a small town, he always dreamed of a life where he could offer his talents and creativity to the visual arts. His passion for filmmaking sparked at the age of 7, when his grandfather handed over the use of his coveted VHS camcorder. This act of trust and generosity inspired Scott to dive headfirst into his imagination, and pursue the art of compositional storytelling. Throughout the next decade, Scott and his friends spent their free time shooting humorous action spoofs as a backyard hobby. After graduating from Penn high school in 1997, Scott enrolled at Indiana University of South Bend. During this pivotal time of education, he learned how to organize his talents throughout various topics of study, all while juggling a wide range of jobs to make ends meet. Scott received his Bachelors degree from Indiana University in 2004, and for the next several years he acquired valuable experience in screenwriting, producing, directing, editing, acting, etc, all while operating a local multimedia company (3C's Productions). Although his surroundings were comfortable at that time, following the path of least resistance in the Midwest was NOT the top of the mountain for this hometown dreamer. With unconditional support from his friends, family, and loving wife Ann, Scott realized that he needed to fully pursue a career in the entertainment industry. The newlyweds sold their house in Indiana, packed up their lives, and moved to Burbank, CA with their two dogs in July of 2009. Since moving to the West Coast, Scott has graduated with honors from The Los Angeles Film School, and is the Associate Program Director of New Media at Video Symphony (2012), along with operating his own multimedia company (CRAWLEYWOOD Productions). Mr. Crawley is more than grateful for the unique opportunities that have been presented to him over the years, as he is truly devoted to finding that special harmony of having a life that he loves, and a challenging career to go along with it.
