Gio Gabunia

Gio Gabunia was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. He graduated from Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University drama faculty. His acting career started at Nodar Dumbadze Professional State Youth Theatre. Gabunia first appeared on K17 (2010) as Luca, since then, he had roles appearing on Taxi (2014), Tiflis (2014), he also starred in films written and directed by Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Luis Moya, including Chaika (2012) and The Night Watchmen (2016). He starred as Priest in Shindisi (2019) alongside Dato Bakhtadze and Goga Pipinashvili. Gio Gabunia was also a host of his own travel shows called Safari (2012-2013) and Travelling with Gio Gabunia (2013-2020)
