Alexandru - Marian Floroiu was born in Comanesti City, Bacau, Romania on September 8, 1989. He is the only actor in the family. Alex Floroiu joined the Faculty of Acting in 2010. In High School he attended the public administration specialization, which continued from 2008 at University of Bucharest. His acting teachers are Mihai Malaimare and Anamaria Pîslaru. He was under their guidance two years at Spiru Haret University and one year at Hyperion University, when the entire class was followed their teachers. Alex is an ambivalent actor, managing to bring his characters so dramatic nuances, and even comical. His debut on the theatre stage made it to Arca Theatre / La Scena, where he played Senior Pantalone in "The Colombina's Cashbox", under the direction of the actress Dana Voicu. The show was born as a result of acting courses followed at Teen Media Academy. Since then, Alex Floroiu was chosen to play in theatre shows like "The spectator condemned to death", "The Playful School", "Looking for the Lost Meaning", directed by Cristian Bajora. In the 2nd year of acting study, he decides to waive Teen Media and to engage to Masca Theatre of Bucharest. He's making the debut with the graduation show, "Blue Canary", followed by "Miles Gloriosus", "A Lost Letter", "The Strike", "The Park", "Romeo and Juliet", and others, directed by Mihai Malaimare. In 2014, the actor gets specialized on the children's characters, playing Gulita in "Ma'am Chirita" (Masca Theatre), Hansel in "Hansel and Gretel", Andrei in "To be or not to be", written and directed by Ana Dumitrascu and The Prince in "The Naughty Prince and the Wise Old Man", written and directed by Aurel Sorin Sandu (Amphitheatrrom). In regards to his filmmaking work, he's not yet established. The few movies that made them have independent status, many of them being student films. These are "1st April", "The Justice Balance", "A Teacher for a New School", "The Colony of Angels", directed by Corina Delia Chirita and "Prisoner" by Valentin Micu. The last film project is called "The Morrígan" (short film/2015), written and directed by Petre Apostol. In the summer of the same year (2015), Floroiu is departing in Tenerife by an European programme, where he participates at the production of some short-films. He returns home with the "The Prize for The Best Actor in a Leading Role" played in "Do It On Your Way". In 2013, the actor plays in the TV IDs for Kanal D, a notable television project made in collaboration with Tudor Dumitrascu and his team. In 2014, Alex founds and leads the artistic company named Breasla Actorilor (The Actors' Guild) and the online magazine, artactorului.ro, enterprises intended for actors.
