Hailing from the regional town Toowoomba, Charlotte Chimes secured her place in the Australian film and television space with critical roles in Nine Network's Schapelle and Seven Network's Catching Milat. Represented by Benchmark Creative in Australia she has honed her craft and ability to adapt to genre and character with rewarding response from critics and public alike. Having explored the American market with her manager Rebecca Lyle at Authentic Management, she appeared in the US pilot, Happy People Suck with Emmy Award winning producers Tracey Baird and Krysia Plonka, and the horror short film Santa Clause is a Vampire, directed by John Fitzpatrick of hit TV show, Supernatural. Most notably in 2019, Charlotte made her theatre debut in Sydney's Brave New Word Theatre Co's, We Are The Himalayas. She received rave reviews for her performance and after a sellout season, the show was extended. Charlotte is a member of two professional improv troupes. The Magnificent Finger Gunners, a genre based improv troupe which performed a sold out season at the Sydney Fringe Festival. Based on the success of her improv troupes, Chimes was commissioned to create a series of isolation sketches for Yahoo Lifestyle - "Lala in Lockdown." Which she wrote, directed, produced and starred in. Charlotte is also a successful producer having worked on the hit online series such as BUILD Series Sydney and The New Investors for Verizon Media. Most recently Charlotte joined Australia's longest running series Neighbours as Nicolette Stone, heritage character Jane Harris' daughter. Check out her out on 10 Peach, 6.30pm weeknights.
