Lauren Musgrove was born on August 8, 1994 in Houston, Texas. She is a director, producer, editor, cinematographer, and actress. She has won 3 Southeast Emmys and her work has screened at various festivals such as Cannes, Tribeca, and Sidewalk. Her parents, Deborah and Robert Musgrove, both NASA employees, grew up traveling the world as children of US Air Force members. Lauren graduated from the University of Alabama in 2016 with a degree in Media Production, and has since taught several video labs there. Lauren moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 2016 where she continues to create independent film work as well as inspirational documentaries for Red Clay Media.
