Jessica Leventhal is a writer from New York who became disabled as an adult and uses a wheelchair. Storytelling has seen her through three careers in entertainment: first acting as a child and young adult (twice on Broadway), then development/producing (Director of Development for Bruce Cohen, co-produced Rob Reiner's staged reading of '8', produced Andrew Lippa's I am Harvey Milk at Lincoln Center), and ultimately, writing. A Yale graduate, her solo writing credits include an episode of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series for Disney+, and a dramatic feature for producer/director Linda G. Mills. She was recently a guest on "Randi Zuckerberg Means Business" on SiriusXM discussing the Oscars, accessibility, and disability representation.
