Jason Knade

Jason is a Chicago-based director of narrative films, commercials, and music videos. He also works as a writer, cinematographer, and producer. His work has been called "poignant" and "intelligent" by The Huffington Post, "heartbreaking" and "raw" by The Los Angeles Times, "sexy" and "risqué" by The Wall Street Journal, and "noteworthy" and "viral gold" by the Daily Beast. His work has been featured across television, including Good Morning America, Larry King Live, Windy City Live, CNN, ABC News, and Fox News. Jason has reached tens of millions of viewers through 150+ film festival screenings, 15,000,000+ online views, and numerous spots on broadcast television (E!, CNN, Fox, Lifetime, ESPN, and OWN). He has twice been named the "Best Filmmaker" in Chicago by the Chicago Reader, was called "soon-to-be-famous" and "multi-talented" by WBEZ (Chicago Public Radio), and was profiled and featured in a Michigan Avenue Magazine cover story about top Chicago filmmakers. Jason holds an MFA in Independent Filmmaking. He's taught courses at numerous colleges and universities, spoken at national conferences about entrepreneurship in the arts, and served on screening committees and juries of international film festivals.
