Lauren Lindberg is a Producer from California who is committed to creative and meaningful methods of storytelling that bring to light a variety of pertinent human rights issues. Lindberg's empathy and sensitivity are her super powers, and she harnesses those every step of the way in her documentary film process - connecting with folks and lifting up their voices with sincerity and authenticity. Equipped with 10+ years of producing experience, her work has screened in over 60 national and international film festivals, including the San Francisco Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, Paley Docujam, Mill Valley, Vancouver, International Wildlife Film Festival, Sarasota Film Festival and Atlantic. She was featured on PBS Independent Lens, and her work was part of an exhibition at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco. Film awards include: Best Documentary, Best Youth Film, Filmmaker of Tomorrow, Best Editing, and Audience Choice Awards. Lindberg's film career began as a teen member of Bay Area Video Coalition's Factory Youth Program in Oakland, California. It was there that she discovered a passion for telling others' stories. Through film, she is able to combine her lifelong love for volunteerism with her passion for helping others. In 2011, Lauren received a Jefferson Award for Public Service, for her work in social issue documentary.
