Steve Buccarelli was born in Elizabeth, NJ. He spent his childhood in Clark, NJ. In the summer of 1992, Steve's family moved south to Brick, NJ. This is where Steve started his career in the arts. He joined Brick Children's Community Theatre and his first acting role was that of the father in, "Best Little Christmas Pageant Ever". From there, Steve took an active role acting in the Community Theatre as well as getting involved in the Brick Memorial High School Drama Club, Chorus Club, Interact Club, and Student Government. Steve's interested always expanded above and beyond theatre, a true nerd at heart, (something he is very proud of), he always enjoyed video games and computer programming. Socially he was always outgoing and very friendly. When it came time to choose a college, Steve went to his first choice, Virginia Tech. He chose them because of their excellent computer science and theatre arts programs. Originally intending to double major with Computer Science and Theatre, that idea soon died after he watched Office Space and was faced with the stark reality of what a job in Computer Programming could lead to. He abandoned that as a career and went solely as a Theatre Arts major. He received his BA in Theatre Arts from Virginia Tech in 2006. In 2008, Steve Buccarelli moved back to New Jersey, missing the ocean and the artistic opportunities that being close to New York City can provide. After a while he started finding work as a Director/Actor/Writer/Producer. His first film Parker and the Box will release in 2011. Steve Buccarelli is now working on starting his own production company and is attached to 4 movies, 1 sitcom, a weekly variety show, and a documentary.
