Nadia Sarmova

Nadia Sarmova is a producer, writer and social entrepreneur focused on creating social change through visual storytelling. Nadia is best known for being a filmmaker with heart, highlighting critical issues, controversial stories and marginalized people who are often times forgotten. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Nadia credits her Eastern European roots and her family's struggle to assimilate in the United States as key factors contributing to her aspiration to create entertainment that fulfills on its highest purpose. Armed with the belief that entertainment can inspire social change, Nadia founded Beam-In Studios in 2017. The company specializes in producing 'impactainment' - films, scripted series, and reality programming that empower and inspire viewers to take action around critical social justice issues.
