Alex Makauskas

Alex Makauskas is an Australian actor, writer and producer. He was born on March 18th, 1986, to Cherie Makauskas (Row) and Glenn Makauskas, a property developer and race horse owner. His mother is New Zealand born and his father was born in Australia and is of Lithuanian and English decent. He was named after his Lithuanian grandfather, Alexander. Alex grew up in the Gold Coast hinterland of Queensland with his two sisters, Jyana and Shannan. Growing up, all three siblings were competitive Equestrians. Alex has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Film & Television from Bond University.
