Caroline Redman Lusher was a pupil at Saint Martin's Independent Day School for Girls, Solihull, UK from 1985-1992. She went on to study at Salford University, UK where she gained a degree in Popular Music and Recording. Caroline started performing professionally at the age of 15. She worked in London as a singer, entertaining celebrities in venues such as The Dorchester, Hyde Park and Lanesborough hotels. She also qualified as an A-level teacher in Performing Arts and Music. In 2001 she was teaching Music and Performing Arts at the Sixth Form College, Farnborough, Hampshire, UK when she devised the concept of Rock Choir. It became so successful that in 2005 she launched it as a business, beginning with 70 members. In 2009, after an appearance on the BBC, Universal Records offered Rock Choir a multi-album record deal. With Caroline singing lead vocals, the ensuing two albums went on to top the UK album charts and break two Guinness World Records. In 2011 Rock Choir and Caroline featured in a three part ITV1 documentary, The Choir That Rocks (2011) about the lead-up to a performance at Wembley Arena, London. The show caused the membership to double, and as of 2013, following sell-out performances at London's O2 Arena and the Echo Arena, Liverpool, Rock Choir has around 16,000 members across the UK. Caroline's success as a musician and entrepreneur has led her to be nominated for and to win a number of awards, and to be in demand as a motivational speaker. She is also patron and ambassador for a number of UK charities.
