Taraneh Mehdi-Behesht

Taraneh Mehdi-Behesht was born on the 24th of December 1995, in Tehran, Iran as the only child of teacher parents. At the age of 12 she made her film debut in Earring (2007). She was selected among hundreds of girls considered for the role. After that, she had a leading role in One Damn Degree (2010), a short film about dangers of the Internet dating for teenage girls. This short film had many screenings around the world and was finally bought by a distribution company based in Hollywood and released in North America under It's a Criminal World (2012). She also cooperated in some documentary films with Hesam Dehghani.
