Erik Hakansson

Erik Hakansson graduated from Rose Bruford College outside London with a BA (Hons) in European Theatre Arts in 2005 and then a MA in Theatre Practices in 2006. Later in 2008 he earned a diploma from doing a 4 week course in Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy in New York City. Erik has performed in the theatre in Iceland, Spain and Hungary where he has made a couple of infomercials as well. He has worked closely with Eyrún Ósk Jónsdóttir and her theatre space Jadarleikhusid in Hafnarfjordur and was a guest artist with her theatre group Dan Kai Teatro in 2008. In 2010 he made his first feature film in Iceland called L7 Hrafnar, Sóleyjar og Myrra that was written and directed by Helgi Sverrisson and Eyrún Ósk Jónsdóttir.
