Originally from North Pole, Alaska, Rebecca Casselman is an American actress, director, and writer. She earned a Master of Theatre Arts degree in 2010, and as a military spouse has traveled extensively, acting and directing in Missouri, Alaska, Arizona, California, and Illinois. Rebecca wrote, directed, and produced the feature film "Next to North" as her auteur debut in 2021. She holds supporting roles in two award-winning independent films, and appeared in season two of HBO's "Big Little Lies", and season two of the Netflix production "13 Reasons Why". During pandemic season, Rebecca further developed her sketch comedy series "The Queen Tries" and focused on building her craft with training intensives; most notably with casting legend Jane Jenkins, NY Acting and Voice Studios, and Emmy Award winner Matt Roberts, owner of D.P. Smith Actors' Studio: Rebecca has "such a wonderful, natural quality that is entertaining to watch and work with." Rebecca co-founded Cassel Core Industries, where she is a podcast producer and co-host for "Candy from Strangers". She's also the author of "The Fourth Fate", a jr. fiction novel written for the underrepresented upper middle-grade niche, released in May of 2021.
