Evelina Khromtchenko was born in Ufa on the February 27th. Evelina finished Moscow school N21 with profound studying of English language, and graduated with honors from the Journalism faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University. During the study at MSU Evelina worked at the radio station "Smena" of the First channel of All-Union Committee for Radio and Television Broadcasting. She had also worked with TV-program "Vzglyad" of "VID" TV-company with the Vlad Listyev direction. Since 1992 till 1998 was a regular fashion observer for radio channel "Europe Plus". In 1994 worked out and launched the concept of teenage girls magazine "Marussia". In 1995 Evelina Khromtchenko together with a partner launched PR agency "Evelina Khromtchenko fashion department" later renamed to "Artefact". She headed PR activities for such projects as Fashion Week in Moscow, model contests Elite Model Look and etc. At the same time she worked as the freelance fashion columnist in several magazines. January 1st 1998 Evelina Khromchenko headed the Russian edition of the L'Officiel magazine. She was the Editor-in-chief and Creative Director of the magazine for 12 years. Evelina was a curator of art-projects and exhibitions "Valenki-Valenki" in State Museum of Fine Arts (Pushkin Museum), "Brilliant heads" in State Revolution Museum, "Ora-Ito - virtual pirate" in State History Museum, etc. In 2006 Evelina made cameo in TV-series "Born Ugly" (Russian version of The Ugly Betty) and "Daughters-Mothers". In 2006 Evelina dubbed Meryl Streep in Russian version of Devil Wears Prada (XX Century Fox). In 2009 Evelina released a book "Russian style" in Assouline PH in English and in French. Presentation and the autograph session took place in Paris during the Haute Couture fashion week. Since July 2007 Evelina is a presenter in "Modniy Prigovor" talk show ("Fashion Verdict") on Russian Channel One. In 2008 "Fashion Verdict" received the TEFI award in the category "Entertainment: lifestyle". Since 2010 Evelina is included in Top25 popular Russian TV-hosts list according to TNS Russia. In September 2013 Evelina Khromtchenko coordinated the work of creating a module of "Fashion and lifestyle journalism" for the Bachelor's program and developed the list of subjects and candidate professors. In 2013 and 2014 fashion expert Evelina Khromtchenko was included in Business of Fashion 500 - the prestigious list of the UK site businessoffashion.com showing 500 people shaping the global fashion industry. Evelina Khromtchenko noted in "Media" category side by side with Anna Wintour (Vogue US), Carine Roitfeld (CR Fashion Book), Suzy Menkes (Conde Nast International).
