Alex Nishino is a multi-faceted performer of the Jekyll & Hyde variety. Known for his roles ranging from the endearing good guy to the sadistic troublemaker, Nishino has surprised audiences with his different twists on innocence both gained & lost. As the only child to Huoy Sann, a United States Postal Worker, and Masao Nishino, a mechanic and car importer, he carries on a family legacy of adventure and self realization. The Sann Family immigrated to the U.S. as refugees fleeing war torn Cambodian during the 1970s Communist Revolution, laying the foundation for a new generation of Cambodian Americans seeking education and purpose. Huoy Sann graduated from Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon, with a degree in Accounting. Masao Nishino, born following the end of the 2nd World War, grew up in an economically down turned Japan. In an early response to poverty, he became a mechanic during his teens and started a junkyard to further fund his own education. Following his high school graduation, he traveled across Asia and Europe seeking industry. His journey led him to California where he would meet Huoy and they would start a family. Alex Nishino began acting in Community Theater and Independent films in 2008. Upon discovering this art form, he has never let go of the craft since. In the last decade, he has moved on to pursue and deliver for professional level projects. He carries both his family history as well as his own personal taste for the unknown as he enters each exciting and new collaboration.
