Cody Cameron-Brown

Cody is a Perth based filmmaker with a background in visual art and live storytelling. After graduating from the WA Screen Academy with a Bachelors in directing, Cody was one of ten directors selected worldwide to attend an intensive workshop in Toronto with renowned teacher, Judith Weston. (Author of Directing Actors and The Film Director's Intuition). Cody applied his newly acquired skills towards directing two short films, Outline and Watchdog, both funded by Screen Australia. The latter earned him a nomination for Young Australian Filmmaker of the Year at the 2017 Byron Bay Film Festival. Cody's work has played in numerous festivals across Europe and America including the Academy Accredited Heartland Film Festival.
