Markus Rühl

Markus Rühl was born in Darmstadt, Germany. He is an IFBB professional bodybuilder. While playing soccer Rühl sustained a knee injury. He began training at the age of 18 following a doctor's recommendation after the injury . At 120 lbs., Rühl began training hard six days a week. Five years later he decided to to compete on a professional level. During this period Markus worked as a used car salesman. Rühl signed a sponsorship deal with the famous brand Ultimate Nutrition in late 2008. He is close friends with Mr. Max "Bota" Sengotta. According to experts of bodybuilding Markus possesses some of the biggest shoulders in bodybuilding history.
