Scott Barclay

Following his professional training in 1987, Scott worked for four years in children's theatre and toured the south east in a two-handed show based on the songs of Flanders & Swann before taking an extended break from the industry. During this break, Scott established himself as one of the UK's leading authors of fantasy fiction. Under the name, 'James Barclay' he has published twelve novels that have sold all over the world and have been translated in to eight foreign languages. Scott returned to the industry in 2011 with a role in independent gangster feature film 'The Estate'. Following a course at RADA in 2012, he has appeared in three short films, 'The Knife Drawer', 'No Signal' and 'Origin' and completed the shooting of two feature films, 'Secrets In The Past' and 'Goodnight, Gloria'. He has also filmed an RTS award-nominated TV comedy pilot, 'Jim', in which he played the title role.
